This fall RT’s vocalist Richie Plath decided to call it quits. It was a great 27 years but he is ready to retire from a full time gig. He wants to spend more time with his family and friends and catch up on all of the things he’s been putting off for 27 years! He is planning to get into some part time bands as well as continue to wash windows with his company Ever Clear Window Cleaners. Not to mention he bought a few barns and tore them down and wants to start working with barn boards! I’m sure he has more up his sleeve than that, but only time will tell.
We will miss Richie terribly, but he will always and forever be in the Road Trip family. Once a Tripper, always a Tripper.
So with that said, we would like to introduce to you our newest family member…….(drum roll)…. CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH SZEBINI! Award winning vocalist, crazy good drummer, song writer, world traveler, singer/percussionist of BOXKAR, singing jingles on the side and, not to mention, Amy’s new fashion consultant! 😉
We can’t wait for you to meet this guy, he will blow your mind. We are excited for him and excited for Richie and his new life. Chris’s first show will be at a private party with us on Jan 5th, then RT is on vacay until Jan 19th and we will be at Rev’s in Oshkosh at 9PM. We hope you all come out and give him a big warm welcome!
